Whatever situations we find ourselves facing, the rural landscape provides an amazing opportunity to catch our breath, take a moment and find space to breathe.
This internal therapeutic experience comes as we engage our senses with the natural world. The sense of well being gained from a spring breeze, sunlit leaves and the rustle of long grass is powerful and refreshing, whilst the winter rain, brittle stems and dull mists can have an empathetic and cathartic impact.
A physical journey becomes entwined with an emotional journey.
As we look around we gain multiple impressions of the landscape, these moments, glances and experiences are what I hope to capture and communicate within this series of images.
